๐ HiTT Malta Table Tennis Academy International Training Tour Camp โ Final Chapter: Novi Sad, Serbia
Our young squad has departed Kanizsa and arrived in Novi Sad at STK Novi Sad for the final leg of their 9-day international training tour โ a 3-day camp and team tournament that caps off an extraordinary program.
In Novi Sad, our players are joined by Serbian national team members and coaches, with a strong focus on tactics and match strategy. The international exposure is exactly what these rising stars need โ facing high-level performances and gaining a perspective that no home court can offer.
Throughout the tour, the team has been closely followed by Serbia's National Junior Coach, Duลกan Djukiฤ, who has worked hand-in-hand with our own Coach Mario Genovese over the past 7 years. Training has been intense, with up to 4 sessions per day of 90 minutes each on certain days โ pushing every player beyond their limits.
Today, they wrap up with mixed team competitions in Davis Cup format โ a fitting and exciting finale to an unforgettable program.

๐ฅ Julia Bonnici โ Gold Medalist, Group C Plate Event
โญ Hugo Ursell & Danny Scicluna โ both qualified for the Main Draw
๐ Kayden Griscti โ climbed into the top-seeded Elite Group
๐ Jake Arora & Zak Anastasi โ both won their respective groups in Group B1
๐ฏ Darius Konovalov โ reached the Group C Main Draw Semi-Final
๐ฏ Sean Micallef also managed to win 3 matches and go to Main Draw D
๐ Every single player delivered performances above their usual level โ physically prepared, mentally sharp, and ready to compete on the international stage.
This 9-day program has been a milestone in the development of HiTT Academy's next generation. They return to Malta not just with medals, but with growth, experience, and a higher standard to aim for.
