🌍 Every Public Contract Can Create Social Value
The European Commission reminds us that public procurement isn't only about getting the lowest price.

It can also support:
βœ” decent work
βœ” inclusion of people with disabilities
βœ” fair working conditions
βœ” equal opportunities
βœ” ethical supply chains

That's exactly what Socially Responsible Public Procurement (SRPP) is all about.

Imagine if every public contract asked:
"How can this purchase improve people's lives?"

That's the future Deal4Good is working towards.

Can Artificial Intelligence Make Public Procurement More Inclusive?
Malta has launched a €15 million scheme to help SMEs invest in digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence.

Why does this matter for social procurement?

AI can help suppliers:
βœ… prepare better tender applications
βœ… reduce administrative burden
βœ… make public contracts more accessible to small businesses and social enterprises

Technology should not replace peopleβ€”it should remove barriers so more organisations can compete fairly.

At Deal4Good, we believe digital innovation and social innovation should go hand in hand.

🌱 **Green VET Skills Project – Official Kick-off Meeting in Rovigo**

On **24 June 2026**, the official kick-off meeting of the **Green VET Skills** project was successfully held in **Rovigo, Italy**, bringing together all project partners for the first transnational meeting.

During the meeting, partners had the opportunity to present their organisations, discuss the overall project objectives, define roles and responsibilities, and plan the first steps of the project implementation.

The meeting represented an important moment to strengthen cooperation among the partners and to establish a shared vision for the development of activities focused on **green skills, vocational education and training, sustainability, and labour market needs**.

Green VET Skills aims to support the development of practical tools, training activities and learning resources that can help learners, educators and VET organisations better respond to the challenges of the green transition.

A special thank you to all partners for their active participation and valuable contribution. We look forward to working together on the next project activities.

Within the framework of the SAVET – Self-Assessment Mastery for Lifelong Learning in VET Erasmus+ Project, another training session was successfully delivered, involving two more teachers in the project’s activities.

The training focused on the importance of self-assessment strategies in vocational education and training (VET) and provided participants with the opportunity to explore practical tools and methodologies developed within the project.

During the session, the teachers reflected on how self-assessment can help learners become more independent, motivated, and aware of their own learning progress. The activity also encouraged discussion on how these approaches can be integrated into daily teaching practices and adapted to real classroom contexts.

This additional training represents another important step in strengthening teachers’ competences and promoting reflective learning, lifelong learning skills, and learner autonomy in VET education.

The SAVET project continues to move forward successfully thanks to the active involvement and commitment of teachers, partners, and stakeholders.

πŸ“’ SMART-VET Project Update

The SMART-VET project partners recently held an online coordination meeting to review the progress of the project, discuss ongoing activities, and plan the next steps towards achieving our objectives.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to exchange updates, strengthen collaboration, and ensure the successful implementation of activities aimed at enhancing smart skills and international mobility in VET education.

We would like to thank all partners for their valuable contributions and continued commitment to the project. Together, we are building innovative solutions for the future of vocational education and training.

Stay tuned for more updates!
