Backbending with besties 👯‍♀️

Last week we had the privilege of worshiping the setting sun and welcoming in the full moon, reflecting on gratitude and setting intentions all whilst getting a little bit more in touch with our natural state and surroundings by the beach.

A truly special experience bathed in African gold. Thank you to everyone for trusting me to guide you. From the bottom of my heart, it was a pleasure.

- Big toe forward fold -

🐚 Hold your big toe with the first two fingers and press the thumb on top of the big toe

🪸 Press into the the heels and send the hips high towards the sky

🌊 Inhale as you lengthen the spine, exhale bend the elbows to pull yourself deeper into the forward fold

I think of trees and how simply they let go, let fall the riches of a season, how without grief they can let go and go deep into their roots for renewal and sleep..
Imitate the trees. Learn to lose in order to recover, and remember that nothing stays the same for long, not even pain, psychic pain. Sit it out. Let it all pass. Let it go.
