🤍 The end of a very special chapter… 🤍
This week marks the final lesson of our Summer Revision Programme, but it also marks something much more personal to me — the very last private lesson I will teach from my childhood home.
It feels incredibly bittersweet.
This is the same place where, as a little girl, I used to play “teacher” in this very room, writing on a board that my father had made especially for me. Back then, it was just a childhood game and a little girl’s dream. I could never have imagined that years later, after graduating as a teacher, I would return to that same room and begin giving private lessons of my own. 🥹
Since graduating, this has always been the home of my private lessons. Within these walls, I have taught and watched so many children learn, grow in confidence and move on to the next chapter of their education. So many worksheets, corrections, explanations, laughs, little achievements and proud moments have happened right here. 🤍
And somewhere along the way, that little girl playing teacher became Ms Alessia, and those pretend lessons became something very real and very special to me.
So, while I am incredibly excited for what comes next, saying goodbye to this room carries so many emotions. It is the end of a place that holds a lifetime of memories — from pretending to be a teacher to building the private lessons I am so proud of today. ❤️
To every child and every family who has walked through these doors over the years, thank you for being part of this chapter. 🤍
One door is closing, but a beautiful new one is opening…
