BeeSmart Helping the Community 💛

This weekend, BeeSmart proudly supported two lovely charity events.

Yesterday, Ms Maria and Ms Fabianne helped during the Pasta Night in aid of Hospice Malta, animating the children’s area for all the little ones present.

Today, Ms Sherrona, Ms Sonya, Ms Pavlonia, Ms Kylie and Ms Roxanne were at Liceo Ħamrun for the Maratona Sportiva, taking care of the children whose parents were volunteers supporting the event.

A small gesture from our team, with a big heart — supporting the community and helping raise funds for meaningful causes. 💛

World Book Day Celebrations at BeeSmart MCS and BeeSmart Santa Venera

🇮🇪✨ Erasmus+ Experience in Ireland ✨🇮🇪

We are incredibly proud to share the inspiring Erasmus+ journey of Ms Donna from our BeeSmart Kindergarten team and Ms Roxanne from our BeeSmart Childcare team, who represented us in Ireland this past week, in collaboration with Future Focus.

From the moment they arrived, they were warmly welcomed by the CKLP team and joined educators and students from across Europe, including Spain, Turkey, Italy, and Malta. The experience focused on active citizenship, inclusion, and social justice, exploring how education can truly make a difference in our communities. 🌍

Throughout the week, they engaged in a rich programme of workshops and activities:

💻 Digital Media Literacy & Innovation
They explored how to better understand and evaluate online content, while also learning about environmentally sustainable computing and how technology can be used responsibly.

🌱 Sustainability & Environmental Awareness
From visiting a paint recycling centre to walking along the Barrow Blueway, they experienced first-hand how communities are working towards a greener future, discussing global goals such as clean water, equality, and quality education.

🧠 Citizenship & Collaboration
A special highlight was Ms Donna’s contribution, where she shared insights on our own citizenship system, promoting understanding of rights and responsibilities. Both educators collaborated with international partners, exchanging ideas and best practices.

🌍 Inclusion & Global Learning
At the CKLP offices, they took part in meaningful workshops on global citizenship, learner support, and inclusive education. Activities included multilingual collaboration, eco-fashion projects, recycling workshops, robotics demonstrations, and social farming initiatives – all promoting creativity, diversity, and sustainability.

🎓 The experience concluded with a certificate ceremony, marking the end of a truly enriching journey filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

This opportunity goes beyond personal development – it brings back valuable ideas and experiences that will continue to enrich our classrooms, inspire our children, and strengthen the BeeSmart community. 💛
