The Designathon Works Foundation teaches children (8 to 12 years old) the skills that help them develop ideas and solutions for a better world.

The Global Children’s Designathon (GCD), initiated by Designathon Works in 2014, is an annual event that uses design and problem-based learning to encourage children from all over the world to think creatively about sustainability issues. Children from participating countries around the world work simultaneously to develop their own ideas, deepen their learnings and have contact with each other du

What a day! What an awesome group of inspired kids!

We watched in awe as our dream of empowering children to see themselves as change-makers and bring their ideas to life, all came together during the Global Children’s Designathon (GCD) 2022. ✨

A big thank you to all who have helped us in making the event such a success. We are looking forward to sharing more change-maker ideas and activities in the near future. 😊 🌎

Thank you to our event partners JPA, Faber-Castell| the concept [Malta], Dr Juice (MALTA) Cool Ride-Pooling, Citadel Insurance plc and Gadgets for your enthusiastic support and encouragement.

The theme for this year’s Global Children's Designation (GCD) is 'Our Planet, Our Future', where children learn about the main cause of the climate change crisis and how it affects the planet. 🌏

On the 9th of April, children in and across the will get together to come up with ideas, then get hands-on creating a solution. ✏
