🌿🐟 Bio Aqua Garden 🇲🇹🤝🇬🇷 🌱
Our students of Year 6 Ħarifa had an amazing opportunity to explore the world of aquaponics through our eTwinning project, Bio Aqua Garden. Working alongside our partner school in Greece, they learned about sustainable gardening, cared for aquaponics systems, participated in educational visits, explored aquatic environments through VR, and collaborated on a shared digital fact book.
This project helped students develop scientific knowledge, digital literacy skills, teamwork, and international friendships while learning how nature and technology can work together for a more sustainable future.

A Wonderful Milestone for Our Adopt a Turtle Campaign! 💙🐢

Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who contributed to our Adopt a Turtle Campaign, we were able to adopt four rescued sea turtles: Xuxu, TinTin, Sandra, and Tonina. Every donation has helped provide these turtles with the care and rehabilitation they needed before returning to their natural home.

Today, we were thrilled to learn that Sandra has been released back into the sea after eight months of rehabilitation. She was released alongside three other rescued turtles—Mira, Lilly, and Xixa—who had all been affected by human-related threats, including ingesting fishing lines and becoming entangled in fishing nets.

Sandra's return to the sea is a wonderful reminder that, together, we can make a real difference in protecting our marine life.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our campaign. Your kindness is helping give these amazing creatures a second chance.

This week, we celebrated a very special milestone – our Year 6 End of Primary Prom! 🎉

It was an unforgettable evening filled with smiles, laughter, music, dancing, and wonderful memories. Seeing our students dressed so elegantly and enjoying themselves together was truly heartwarming. They have grown so much throughout their primary school journey, and this celebration was a beautiful way to mark the end of one chapter before they begin another.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. As you move on to secondary school, may you continue to dream big, work hard, and believe in yourselves.

Congratulations, Year 6! We wish you every success in the exciting journey ahead.

🌳 WE SAVED A TREE! 🌿

Actions speak louder than words, and today our school community put our love for the environment right into action. When we learned that a beautiful, mature tree was at risk due to a nearby construction site, we knew we couldn’t just stand by.

Thanks to some incredible teamwork, quick coordination, and a lot of heart, we successfully stepped in to rescue and protect it!

This isn't just about saving a single tree—it’s a living lesson for our students that every part of our ecosystem matters, and that we have the power to make a difference in our local community.

A massive thank you to all the staff, helpers, and students who rallied together to make this rescue possible. Our school grounds just got a little greener, and our community spirit a whole lot stronger. 💚

Our eTwinning project “Marionettes Without Borders” has successfully come to an end. Inspired by the marionette of Pinocchio, this enriching journey brought together students from Malta, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, and Italy, along with another school within our college, St Clare College San Miguel Resource Centre, promoting creativity, collaboration, and intercultural understanding.
At St Clare College, San Ġwann Primary, our kindergarten students enthusiastically took part in a variety of engaging activities, including puppet-making, storytelling, and collaborative activities with their international peers.
During a special graduation ceremony, students were proudly awarded their certificates of participation and received eTwinning tokens in recognition of their dedication and active involvement. Parents were also provided with information about the project and the activities carried out throughout this journey.
👏 A big well done to Mr. Luke’s class for their creativity, enthusiasm, and wonderful participation. We are so proud of you!
