Adam Galea, a Year 7 student, took part in this year's Minecraft for Schools competition organised by MDIA.

We are proud to announce that Adam placed 1st in the Middle Schools category, demonstrating creativity, skill, and dedication.

Thanks to Adam's achievement, our school was awarded €1,500 to invest in digital equipment and technology resources for our students.

In addition, Microsoft presented the school with a ring light and a microphone, further supporting our commitment to digital learning and innovation.

Well done, Adam! We are very proud of your success and for representing our school so brilliantly.

What great fun!!! Today our Year 8 students took some great shots at our colourful photo booth. Part 1:

During this scholastic year, we encouraged our students to take part in the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) competition, and we were delighted with the strong level of participation.
Congratulations to Eliza Bugeja, who placed as a finalist with her striking photograph of snails. We are also proud to recognize Neil Sammut and Daniel Cauchi Borg, whose photos were commended for their quality and creativity.
In addition, our EkoSkola students achieved the Best Entry Award with their insightful podcast, “The Sticky Situation”, exploring the issue of chewing gum litter.
Well done to all students who took part – your creativity, initiative and commitment to environmental awareness truly stand out.

Today we proudly presented the sum of 1,260 euros to Fr Christopher Bugeja in aid of the missionary project Road to Peru.
This amount was raised through the joint efforts of Eko Skola teachers and staff, who organised the sale of second-hand books donated by students and staff, a Ftira Day organised by the School Council with the help of the Learning Support Staff, the sale of hand made earrings by Ms Marika Camilleri, and donations from students, parents, and staff.
Thank you all for your help and support! As Fr Christopher said, every euro makes a difference in these people’s lives. Thank you!

Big congratulations go to Kian Magro, Daniela Garcia and Neil Sammut for participating and ranking very high up in the SuperT Mental Maths International Competition 🎉🎉🎉 A special mention goes for Gianluca Formosa who placed in the Top 10 in his Category, for which he received a Diploma Certiface as well as a monetary voucher from Eudactica. Last but not least a big well done to Sam Farrugia, Shezneia Grech Attard and Mason Vassallo for participating in the in-house tournament and for which they also were awarded a certificate of recognition by the school. We look forward to participating again next year with success 🥳
