On Tuesday, 4th August, Hand in Hand marked a historic milestone.
For the first time in our organisation's history, we welcomed 140 guests to celebrate 90 students from Palazzo Zondadari and The Zayn Institute together, in one ceremony.
Throughout the celebration, students and guests were accompanied by musicians Mikaela and Alessia โ Alessia, who is herself on the autism spectrum, brought a moment of profound meaning to the day.
As our CEO reflected in her address: "Success, here at Hand in Hand, was never about everyone reaching the same milestone at the same time, in the same way. It was about every single person reaching their milestone...in their own time, in their own way."
At the end of the ceremony, Honourable Minister Camilleri was presented with a special token, handcrafted from the fingerprints of our students, forming the leaves of a tree beneath the phrase: "Together We Grow."
Our sincere thanks to Honourable Minister Byron Camilleri for being with us on this important morning and our Board of Directors who made Hand in Hand possible. Last but not least, to our dedicated team, and above all, the families who have trusted us every step of the way.
To all out students: "We see you. We see your effort. We see your courage. And we are proud, without any reservation, of who you are."
