Our team has been working diligently on the new bypass connecting Victoria to Marsalforn - an important upgrade to Gozo’s transport network. 🇲🇹 The project involved a careful approach to preserving archaeological findings 🏺, the construction of a stormwater culvert and a bridge 🌉 over the Karawendi Valley, as well as the installation of a new reservoir 💧 to collect rainwater for landscaping irrigation 🌱. This bypass is expected to ease the traffic 🚦 currently flowing through the centre of Rabat.

After receiving Planning Authority approval ✅ and following an initiative by the Minister for Gozo and Planning, discussions with Din l-Art Ħelwa 🤝 resulted in an updated design that safeguards more land and significantly reduces the number of trees affected 🌳⬇️. The revised plans also include a new scenic cycling path 🚴, while wider road sections will be replaced with soft landscaping featuring shrubs and trees. 🌷

Works on the Marsalforn road are also advancing steadily. More updates will follow in the months ahead! 🗓️

The Regjun Nofsinhar premises in Triq il-Vitorja, Qormi is being remodelled through a sensitive extension and internal reconfiguration to accommodate additional offices.

The design strategically integrates a multi-purpose conference room 🤝 and new office spaces, enhancing functionality, while respecting the building’s original character. ✨

Sustainable interventions, including a roof garden 🪴 and an external green wall 🌿, introduce biophilic elements that improve thermal performance 🌡️, foster biodiversity 🦋, and create a more engaging workspace. 💡

The project embodies a considered dialogue between contemporary architectural expression, user-centric functionality, and urban context, elevating both the interior experience and the building’s presence within the public realm. 🏘️

With the support of the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), our proposal envisions a revitalized St. Thomas Bay that’s more inclusive, vibrant, and welcoming for all. 💙

🧺 Comfortable seating and picnic zones made from recyclable materials – creating relaxing, eco-friendly spaces to enjoy the bay.

🧓 A special focus on the elderly with access for all designs including a wheelchair hoist and stair lift for effortless access.
