Water, stones and lots of little discoveries 💧🪨🌿

Today our little ones explored natural stones through water play by feeling different textures, moving them around, comparing them and watching what happens when they get wet.

We incorporate loose parts play and elements of nature into our activities every day. Rather than toys that have one specific purpose, loose parts give children the freedom to explore, experiment and decide for themselves how they want to use them.

Stones, water and other natural treasures invite curiosity in such a simple way. While little hands are busy touching, grasping, moving and arranging, children are developing coordination, concentration, creativity and early problem-solving all through play.

No instructions and no “right” result. Just curious little minds making their own discoveries. 🤍
