Thank you to everyone who attended the first session of the 22nd Series of the KPMG AML Roundtable!

The discussion highlighted how the AML landscape is evolving beyond traditional compliance-driven frameworks toward more dynamic, intelligence-led and business-integrated AML functions. From exploring the concept of "AML 3.0" and the role of data, analytics and technology, to reflecting on the increasingly strategic role of the MLRO, the session generated valuable insights and thought-provoking exchanges.

We also examined the latest regulatory developments from the newly established AMLA and discussed practical considerations for navigating this evolving regulatory environment.

A special thank you to our KPMG speakers: Alex Azzopardi, Alan Talbot and Ariane Azzopardi and to our guest speaker Leslie Janet Stephenson for enriching the discussion with their expertise and perspectives.
