👩🏽‍💻 Dr Jacqueline Żammit presented her research at the International Conference on eXtended Reality (XR Salento 2026) in Otranto, Italy.
📚 The study, “Integrating Maltese Language Acquisition into a 360° XR Study of a Roman Villa in Malta,” explored how immersive XR technologies can combine cultural heritage exploration with Maltese language learning through an interactive reconstruction of a Roman villa in Malta.
🔍 The findings highlight the potential of accessible XR environments to enhance engagement, cultural understanding, and vocabulary development through meaningful, situated experiences.

📣 Dr Jacqueline Żammit presented her study, “Pedagogical Practices and Language Attitudes in the Teaching of Maltese”, at the 11th International Conference on Research in Education (ICRECONF 2026) held in Oslo, Norway.
👩🏽‍💻 The presentation explored key pedagogical approaches and language attitudes shaping the teaching and learning of Maltese.
