🌍 Celebrating International Collaboration in Radiography Education! ✨

We were thrilled to host our international colleagues from the ERG - Erasmus Radiography Group (ERG) at the Faculty of Health Sciences - University of Malta for the 46th ERG Annual Management Team Meeting! 🤝🇲🇹

Over two productive days, joined forces with European partners to:
🎓 Evaluate & Plan Mobilities: Review student and staff exchanges to enhance learning outcomes and clinical experiences across member institutions.
💡 Enhance Student Support: Discuss student evaluations, online learning agreements, attendance monitoring, and safety preparedness for international exchanges.
🔬 Foster Research Collaborations: Explore exciting new avenues to strengthen joint research initiatives among ERG partner institutions.
🏥 Showcase Our Facilities: Apart from hosting a Student Market, we provided our visitors with a tour of our Skills Labs, the Medical Imaging Department at Mater Dei Hospital and the Radiotherapy Department at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre.

A heartfelt thank you to all delegates, faculty members, and students who made this meeting a massive success! A special mention also to Dr Deborah Mizzi, Dr Jonathan Portelli and Ms Gail Bezzina for their dedicated efforts to organise this event.

Huge congratulations to our colleagues Dr Deborah Mizzi and Prof Frank Zarb on their latest publication in Radiography Journal, arising from Deborah’s PhD research! Their pan-European study tackles vital policy and training barriers to supplementary breast cancer screening for women with dense breasts, paving the way for more equitable early detection. Incredible work, team! 🇲🇹👏👉
