A society for philosophy students SPS (the Students’ Philosophical Society) is a student organization which unites students with a common love of philosophy.
Anyone is welcome to join, whether philosophy is your major, one of your electives, or just something you find interesting! We aim to foster a safe space where philosophical discussions can occur, through our many community events. Genocide sits at the intersection of some of philosophy‘s most fundamental questions, from the nature of evil and moral responsibility to justice and political power. This is an evening dedicated to exploring such questions seriously together.
We will open with a presentation on the topic, followed by an open discussion. All perspectives and levels of familiarity are welcome.
