Students following the Agribusiness Vocational subject were directly involved in the preparation of various cottage industry products including tomato sauce, tomato and fig chutney and candied peel. They were involved in the transplanting and maintaining of a range of crops, harvesting and in the production of a range of cottage industry products, in accordance with the Farm to Fork strategy. The students were also directly involved in the labelling of their respective cottage industry products.

Special thanks goes to the Hospitality vocational subjects educators who provided their kitchen to prepare the Cottage industry products

On Friday, 7th November 2025, Maria Regina College, Zokrija Mosta, together with 35 other schools across Malta and Gozo, was awarded funding to create a Greener Space — an initiative aimed at promoting a more sustainable environment within our school community, as well as among local residents and visitors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated students for their determination in making this dream a reality, and to our School Management Team for their ongoing support and guidance. A special thank you also goes to Project Green for believing in our project, under the supervision of the Minister for Environment, Energy & the Regeneration of the Grand Harbour, led by Hon. Miriam Dalli, and the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, led by Hon. Clifton Grima.
