Simple things make big impacts.

Using this feather the children massaged each other faces and bodies.
They were then identifying and naming the parts in spanish while interacting.
With this excersice we also develop emotional skills such as empathy and care about the others.

Why is MUSIC the base of our spanish sessions?

Introducing music into young children’s life develops concentration, memory and listening skills.

-Singing songs helps children to learn speech patterns.

-Singing songs develops a child’s vocabulary and if you incorporate dance into it, the child will be able to recall the words through movements.

-Music stimulates new neural pathways and connections in the brain speeding up the learning process.

-It enhances creativity and curiosity in children

Movement

-Music allows children to move a lot and hence form a strong relationship between the body and brain.

-Movement stimulates brain development in young children. It encourages the formation of neural connections across the two hemispheres. So what better way to incorporate movement than through music?

-Movement plays an important role in language development as early communication is entirely physical and depends upon gestures and expressions. Music helps in speeding up the entire process substantially.

What a child learns at young age stays with him throughout his life. This is something that we should understand as parents and contribute our bit by incorporating music and movement in our child’s life.

Today we had an amazing experience going throught the book " el pollo pepe" bestseller in Spain...now in Malta!!
With story telling we estimulate language and vocabulary through REPETITION.
Children learn by repetition, that gives them the security to know whats going to happend next, it helps them to create a strong self-esteem.
They achieve goals and reafirm knowledge, by repetition, we also become creative finding new ways to reach the goal or succeed in a task.
