On the 13th of January, some Year 10 classes have benefited from the Culture Pass scheme, as they watched a stage production of Animal Farm, by George Orwell, which is also part of their English literature syllabus. The play was produced by “Shakeshorts” – a drama company under the management of Chris Dingli.

The Health and Social Care year 9 SEC students were visited by Ms Sharon Cipriott from Parentcraft (Mater Dei Hospital). This was part of the learning outcomes of the Health and Social Care syllabus, students learnt how to feed and bathe a baby and the responsibilities of parenthood.

The School Boys Volleyball team participated in the interschool volleyball competition and won all four games. The team will now play the final game in the coming days. The players had been training extensively during the last weeks. Thanks to the teachers of PE for their initiative and commitment.

Our students participated in the interschool table tennis tournament and placed in the top places. The students had been training for a long time during the mid-day break table tennis club. Thanks to Ms Lorraine Micallef and to the teachers of PE.

Today, we had a local chef and ITS lecturer visit our Hospitality Lab. During his visit, he made a demonstration of Kwarezimal, a traditional lent sweet.
Thank you for this opportunity, the sweets were very good too.

As part of the Year 9 Career Guidance Programme, a visit to the Malta National Aquarium was held today. The visit consisted of a guided tour around the aquarium, followed by a career related talk.

VET engineering students today had a career orientation visit to Enemalta where they were taken on a tour of the premises and given an informative talk of how the Power Station functions.
