Hey my love,
As night time drew and our day full of big emotions came to a halt. Your words “mama I love you so much” ring volumes to my soul as we lay down side by side.
Cusping your face close to my chest and heart, tears I’ve never shed before come rolling down. These tears belong to you, they burn, full of love. I love you, I love you through it all.
Be it through discovering that unripe avocados with the peel on taste like sh*t and then getting annoyed that they actually taste like sh*t. Or asking for the third shower after covering yourself with orange juice, changing your mind at the last moment right before you step in and coming for a hug instead.
All you want to know is that you’re loved no matter how things evolve, and you are. I’ll hug and love you when you’re all sticky and covered in goopy stuff. Sometime I’d rather not know what the sticky goopy stuff is 🤪
