Bringing a jack-up drilling rig into port is a delicate maneuver requiring careful planning, precision and close coordination; on the water and ashore. The arrival of the rig brought together , Malta , ’s tug crews, Port Operators, Malta , TM Officials, and our teams. Their combined expertise and cooperation made this operation possible.

Behind the footage are many hours of preparation and people working together at every stage. Our sincere thanks to everyone involved for their professionalism, dedication and teamwork.

Steel work, pipe work, engine servicing, pumps, shafts, seacocks. Above the waterline and below it.

MMH keeps 35,000 square metres of workshop and shed space on site, 6,000 of it under cover and reachable directly by travel lift. A vessel can be lifted, moved, and worked on without ever leaving MMH, and that's why we have Hub in our name.

We’ll be at the Malta Boat Show, Dockyard Creek, 29 October to 1 November.

Four days in Cottonera, with everything from jet-skis and small powerboats through to sailing yachts and superyachts along the creek. More than 60 exhibitors, international brands, marine service providers, live music, all weekend long. Organised by Yachting Malta Ltd.

We’ll be showcasing our dry marina racking system, along with the rest of everything we do here at Marsa. The dry marina is the first of its kind in Malta, with space for 69 boats up to 10 metres, racked and under cover.

Come and find us. Whether it’s berthing, a dry marina space, a lift-out, technical works or training at the Academy, it’s a lot easier to talk through in person than over email.

A crew change is one of those operations where everything has to line up at once. Flights, transfers, documentation, medicals, accommodation, and a berth ready at the right hour.

The Edda Fortis came alongside at MMH and our team handled the turnaround end to end.

Crews arrive rested. Crews leave on time. And in between, they get the sort of welcome Malta has always been rather good at.

Ex01-04 Gas and Vapours, 26 to 30 October, 5 days. A session we have just opened, and the closest date if your certification is due.

ExF Foundation, 9 to 10 November, 2 days. The theory grounding for anyone working in or around explosive atmospheres.

Ex11 Mechanical, 11 to 13 November, 3 days. Built for mechanical operatives working where gases, vapours or dust can form an explosive atmosphere.

Ex01-04 Gas and Vapours, 16 to 20 November, 5 days, delivered in Italian.

Ex01-04 Gas and Vapours, 30 November to 4 December, 5 days, delivered in English (Fully Booked).

All courses run at our training facility in Marsa, assessed to the CompEx standard and recognised internationally.

@ have been supplying yacht coatings to boat builders for years, and the sessions went deep into the detail that decides whether a finish holds up. Topcoat application by spray. Colour matching with a spectrophotometer. Undercoats and fillers. Touch-up and polishing.

A spray finish on a yacht hull is unforgiving work. Every hour of training shows up later in the gloss.

Heavy, oversized, and shaped like nothing you'd ever design a standard rigging plan around. So the rigging plan gets designed around it instead. Weight distribution, clearances, lift sequence, and a team that has done this often enough to know where the problems will appear.

Three weeks out. Ex01-04 Gas and Vapours runs 26 to 30 October at MMH Academy in Marsa, and places are still open.

5 days, the full Gas and Vapours qualification for electrical and instrumentation technicians working in hazardous areas. Assessed to the CompEx standard and recognised wherever the work takes you.

Some vessels call in for a few hours. Others settle in for the length of a project. All are welcome here at MMH.

The Edda Fides alongside in Marsa, where 1,200 metres of quayside and 10.5 metres of depth mean we can accommodate very big ships indeed. An accommodation and service vessel of this size can sit comfortably for as long as the work takes.
