During their Student-Led Conference, Ms Mariette's class raised €600 towards the restoration of the St Anthony the Abbot painting — part of San Anton School's Community Engagement Programme in partnership with Din L-Art Ħelwa.
The fundraiser was the culmination of a rich cross-curricular project rooted in a single driving question: "How can we paint the hidden journey from deep within the earth?" Pupils explored gemstones with gemologist Mr Louis Cauchi Savona, created watercolour paintings guided by artist Mr Paul Caruana, visited the conservation centre, and applied real financial literacy skills — negotiating prices for original artwork and selling their now-popular handmade Gem Bugs at €4.50 each.
The Gem Bugs proved a runaway success. What started as a classroom activity has turned into a steady stream of orders, pushing the fundraising total well past the €444 raised on the day itself.
A wonderful example of learning that goes far beyond the classroom. Well done to all involved.

Did we just travel the world and back? 🌍
Because our Pre-Graders just took us there!
Earlier this evening, we explored five continents — the music, the colours, the cultures. This is what a year of curiosity, creativity, and courage looks like.
We couldn't be prouder.
Super well done to all!

Thank you to our Holy Communion Parent Committee for organising such a memorable event for our community.

Last night, our Grade 1s (Kg2) lit up the stage! 🌈 Each class chose a colour to represent their performance — a beautiful reminder that every child brings something unique to our San Anton family. Smiles, laughter, and dance moves all round.
What a year it's been!

Our Nature Area is thriving despite the heat — thanks to our young gardeners and our dedicated gardener Martin. Spring onions, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, aubergines, pumpkins, and fresh herbs are all coming along beautifully.
We've even spotted grapes on the vine. Château San Anton has a certain ring to it, don't you think?
