🎉 Huge congratulations to our KG2 Puppies and Year 1 Bees classes for their fantastic achievement in the World Book Week Primary Schools Competition organised by the L-Aġenzija Nazzjonali tal-Litteriżmu.

We are so glad to share that both classes placed second 🥈 in their respective categories.

📚 KG2 Puppies created a wonderful "Dive into a Reading Adventure" reading nook as part of the KGs category: Designing an In-Class Reading Nook.

📚 Year 1 Bees beautifully decorated their classroom door with the theme of The Very Hungry Caterpillar as part of the Years 1 & 2 Category: Decorate the Classroom Door as a Book Cover.

Well done to all the students and educators involved, especially to Ms Roberta Felice, Ms Leanne Schembri, Ms Charlene Agius, Ms Charmaine Camilleri and Ms Martha Abdilla Mulholland, for their creativity, enthusiasm and hard work. Your wonderful creations celebrated the joy of reading and made us all incredibly proud! 👏📖

This week, our students at San Ġwann and Msida schools celebrated the beautiful tradition of May Crowning, honouring Our Blessed Mother, Mary. 🌸

Through prayer, songs, and joyful hearts, our little ones came together to show their love and devotion to Mary.

Holy Mary, Mother of Jesus,
Bless our children, families, and schools.
Guide us to be kind, loving, and faithful every day. Amen. 💙

We are still not over yesterday’s excitement, songs and cheer! 🌟🎶

What a truly wonderful concert it was, filled with talent, energy smiles and unforgettable moments. After weeks of rehearsals, our Year 4, 5 and 6 students shone exceptionally on stage, bringing 'The Button Box' to life with confidence and joy.

The story followed Alice and Jack, two children spending a rainy day with their grandparents, who discover a special button box filled with memories, magic and stories from the past. Each button carried its own unique tale and country, reminding us that every person has something special to share.

As our Head of School, Ms Tania Bezzina, beautifully said during her speech, just like every button in the box is unique, so too is each and every one of our students, all gifted in their own wonderful way. 💛

A huge WELL DONE to all our students, educators and everyone involved in making this concert such a success. We are so proud of you all! 👏✨

Here are some raw snippets from yesterday's concert for you to enjoy! 🎥🎭

Our KG1s had a fantastic day out exploring the beautiful streets of Rabat and Mdina! 👑⚔️

Inspired by the wonderful story Zog by Julia Donaldson, a story featuring knights and a princess, our little knights and princesses proudly wore the crowns and helmets they had prepared at school and took part in imaginative role play while exploring the city with their educators.

Our students also enjoyed the fun train ride, happily waving to passers-by along the way before ending the outing with delicious traditional Maltese pastizzi at Howard Gardens. 🚂🙂

📚 Congratulations to our Reading Champions who successfully completed the Reading Tree Challenge! As part of our school’s yearly challenge, this year’s theme celebrated the Reading Tree, reminding us how books help us grow, learn and branch out into new worlds.🌳

Well done to all! 👏

🤎 Xi jfisser tkun soru fil-ħajja tal-lum?
🤎 X'inhu dak li jferrħek l-aktar fil-ħajja tiegħek bħala soru Franġiskana tal-qalb ta' Ġesù?"

Dawn kienu uħud mill-mistoqsijiet li s-sorijiet li jaħdmu fl-iskola tagħna qasmu mal-istudenti bħala parti mill-ħidma vokazzjonali li ssir fl-iskola. L-istudenti kienu kurjużi u wrew ħafna entużjażmu hekk kif semgħu l-esperjenzi ta' Sr Mary, Sr Patricia, Sr Saba u Sr Elaine. Waqt li nirringrazzjawhom tax-xhieda u l-ħidma kontinwa tagħhom, nitolbu sabiex il-Mulej ikattar aktar vokazzjonijiet tajba u qaddisa b'mod partikolari fil-Kongregazzjoni tagħna. 🙏

🤍 What does it mean to be a nun in today’s world?
🤍 What do you most enjoy about being a Franciscan Sister of the Heart of Jesus?

These were among the questions that the sisters who work in our school shared with the students as part of the vocational ministry carried out within the school. The students were curious and showed great enthusiasm as they listened to the experiences of Sr Mary, Sr Patricia, Sr Saba and Sr Elaine. While thanking them for their witness and their ongoing dedication, we pray that the Lord may grant an increase in good and holy vocations, particularly within our Congregation. 🙏
