Spring is in full swing at Pembroke Natura 2000 🌸🪻🌾

Nature Trust is busy carrying out maintenance works on-site and the installation of new notices to the general public. Everyone is urged to follow all site regulations including:

1️⃣Sticking to the allocated footpaths
2️⃣No littering
3️⃣No camping
4️⃣No open fires (bonfires & barbeques)
5️⃣No picking of flowers / vegetation
6️⃣No offroading
7️⃣Not harming wildlife
8️⃣Dogs must be kept on a leash
9️⃣Cleaning up after your dog

Nature Trust - FEE Malta would like to thank Paws Tails and Whiskers for the opportununity to present the work being conducted at Pembroke Natura 2000 to the general public.

During the event, the importance of cleaning up after your dog and keeping dogs on a leash on-site was emphasised.

The Interreg MEDMAQUIS Italia-Malta project is in full swing at Pembroke Natura 2000. This intiative combines edicational activities with environmental initiatives between protected sites in Malta and Italy. Two of these events were carried out at Pembroke Natura 2000 and included two Maltese schools.

The agenda included species identification and a demonstration by the Civil Protection Department and Ambjent Malta. Nature Trust - FEE Malta would like to thank Civil Protection Malta and Ambjent Malta for their help and participation and a special thanks to Johann Gatt for organising everything.

The Wild for Orchids team will soon be heading to Pembroke Natura 2000 for a weekend of orchid spotting on the 21st & 22nd March! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend to learn more about these beautiful flowering plants and the natural environment of Pembroke. 🪻🌺🌷🌹🌸
