Jolly Jumpers Nursery & Child Care

Today we, enjoyed a new toy, that, Ms Claudienne bought us!! We, enjoyed, guessing what was in the box, opening the box and then, playing with the new puzzle game! Thank you, Ms Claudienne!

Today, we were excited to have, fruit water play!!!
Using our, hands, we, had to touch the pieces of fruit, squish the fruit to release the orange smells and splash the water! What, a great activity on a, warm sunny day!

Today we, had, great fun as, we made our own, drink for snack time!!
Today, the children, had to use their, fine motor skills, their hand to eye coordination and had fun as, they squeezed the oranges on the juicer! They, then sat back, relaxed and enjoyed our, freshly squeezed orange juice!! What yummy fun, they had!!

One of, my favourite toys growing up was, fuzzy felt! I was, so happy today to, be able to, let the children, experience something that, I loved! The children, had great fun, exploring the felt texture and creating their own pictures, while I observed and brought back, wonderful memories while, creating memories with the children today!

Today, we used, our fine motor skills, our hand to eye coordination, our creativity and we, had fun as, we, mixed the red and yellow paint together to, create a new colour paint.... it was Orange!!! Wow!

Today, we used, our fine motor skills, our hand to eye coordination, our creativity and we, had fun as, we used the crayons to colour our, own rainbow fish pictures, we then read, the rainbow fish story and Ms Yvonie, shared the shiny scales out so, we, each had one! Just like, the, Rainbow fish in the story. Sharing is caring!!

Today, when Ms Carmen came, she spoke to us in Maltese about, the people in, our community! She, told us all about, the jobs of the people, such as, police, firemen, teachers, nurses, builders etc. We then, used her interactive pictures and we dressed up too! How much, fun!!

This morning, we, used our motor skills, our hand to eye coordination and our, creativity as, explored our play icecream cart and had fun, being the seller and the customer!! How yummy, they look!

Today, the children were challenged with their favourite, puzzles. The children, enjoyed, using their hand to eye coordination and their fine motor skills as they were sorting through the pieces and finding out where, each piece goes in the puzzle tray!

Puzzles, develop the, children's memory skills, as well as an ability to plan, test ideas and solve problems. While completing a puzzle, children need to remember shapes, colours, positions and strategies to complete them.

What fun, we had!

Today, we enjoyed some freeplay... the children chose to, play with the dinosaurs and had fun, walking them around, feeding them and using their, imagination with, the dinosaurs in play.
