Ms. Ilaria recently had the exciting opportunity to attend an Erasmus+ training course in Partizánske, Slovakia 🇸🇰 as part of the Funded projects within SFCE.

Through our school's Erasmus+ Accreditation Project 2025-1-MT01-KA121-SCH-000319621, Ms Ilaria took part in a Maths Mastery programme, where she explored practical teaching methods, collaborative learning strategies, and approaches that help pupils develop confidence and a deeper understanding of mathematics. 🧮📖

Inspired by this experience, she looks forward to introducing these innovative ideas into her classrooms, creating engaging maths lessons that encourage curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. 🌟👩‍🏫🚀

We shared a very special moment with our Year 2 girls and their families as we celebrated their First Holy Communion together as a St Joseph family.

Today, the Year 5 students prepared delicious waffles from scratch for the whole school. Their effort raised an impressive €605, which will be donated to the home run by the Ursuline Sisters as part of our mission statement to help others! 🩵

This week, our KG2 girls welcomed their beloved grandparents to school for a heartwarming day!

The grandparents enjoyed watching the girls perform, shared refreshments together, tested their luck in a fun game of Tombola, and joined in exciting games with their granddaughters.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the special bond between generations and create memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Today during our Year 1.2 Maths lesson, the girls enjoyed a fun shop activity linked to our Money topic. They identified coins and used them to “pay” for treats independently. 🪙🛍️

We also used the money to fill our Class Mission Box for the last time this scholastic year, helping the girls understand the importance of kindness and giving, following the example of our foundress, St. Emilie De Vialar. 💛
