Proud to see our BA Tourism and Events Management students bring their classroom learning to life through “Drink Outside the Box”, an event designed, organised, and delivered as part of their practical training in event management.

The initiative gave students a valuable opportunity to plan, coordinate, problem-solve, and showcase the professional skills required to create meaningful guest experiences. It also highlighted a timely and important trend in hospitality and tourism: the growing popularity of 0% alcoholic drinks and the wider movement towards more inclusive, health-conscious, and creative beverage choices.

Events like these remind us that education is most powerful when students are given the space to apply their knowledge, test their abilities, and lead with confidence.

Congratulations to our students and faculty member, Atanas Gavrailoff, for making this initiative a success.

The Yoga Day at Global College Malta unfolded as a calm and uplifting gathering, bringing people together in a spirit of balance, mindfulness, and quiet connection. Guided practice, gentle breathwork, and a welcoming atmosphere created space to pause and restore.

This meaningful session was made possible through the collaboration of the High Commission of India in Malta, the Navodaya Sanatan Group, and Global College Malta.

Earth Day 🌍 offered a valuable moment for Global College Malta to reflect on its responsibility towards a more sustainable future for Malta.

To mark the occasion, members of the college community joined together in SmartCity, Kalkara to plant olive trees 🌿. This initiative represents an ongoing effort to support environmental care while strengthening ties with the local community.

The olive tree stands as a lasting symbol of endurance and renewal, highlighting the importance of consistent action in protecting the natural environment.

Global College Malta extends its appreciation to all who contributed and to its partners at SmartCity for their collaboration 🤝. There is a continued commitment to building a culture where sustainability is part of everyday campus life.

We'll explore common neurodivergent traits like ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, and how they can impact a student's executive function skills.

These cognitive abilities, which include planning, organisation, and emotional regulation, are critical for navigating major life transitions successfully.

Crucially, we'll emphasise proactive transition planning as a key strategy for supporting neurodivergent students. By building targeted executive skills, students can approach changes like the move from high school to college with greater confidence and resilience.

Participants will leave with practical tools and an understanding of how to empower neurodivergent students to manage transitions effectively and unlock their full potential.
