🍂 A new season is getting underway at the Alliance Française, with plenty of cultural experiences to discover this September!

🏠 Open Day at the AF, with a welcome drink, snacks, the chance to try out the Micro-Folie and virtual reality, and loads of other activities!

🎬 The 6th European Film Festival (EUNIC), featuring Le Quatrième Mur, organised by the Alliance Française and the Embassy of France in Malta at Spazju Kreattiv.

🏛️ A guided tour of Valletta, exploring the French influence on the city.

🎬 The European Film Festival returns to Valletta for its sixth edition, with ten contemporary films presented between September 15th and 20th. The festival is brought to you by EUNIC Malta, the local cluster of the European Union National Institutes for Culture. EUNIC is a network that brings together the cultural institutes and embassies of EU member states, together with Arts Council Malta and the Representation of the European Commission in Malta.

✨ The Alliance Française de Malte and Ambassade de France à Malte are presenting “The Fourth Wall”, Le Quatrième mur.

Lebanon, 1982. Georges travels to Beirut to direct Antigone with actors from the various sides in the conflict. But as the war flares up again, his peace project is brutally confronted with reality.

🎞️ A movie directed by David Oelhoffen, adapted from a novel by Sorj Chalandon, starring Laurent Laffitte, Manal Issa, Simon Abkarian, Bernard Bloch.

🎭 Theatre Workshop for Adults — Dare to Speak French!

This summer, the Alliance Française invites adult learners to discover French through theatre, improvisation and role-play, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
🎬 On the programme: expression games, improvisation and acting out everyday situations. Simple, practical scenes, accessible from A2 level.
🗣️ No pressure, no fear of making mistakes: you play, you dare, you let go! You'll gain confidence speaking, work on your pronunciation and intonation, and discover the joy of expressing yourself spontaneously in French.
