Reading Stars Competition / Brillantini tal-Qari 2025-2026 🌟

Michaela and Rebekah, from Year 10, are talented OLIS ballerinas who have learned ballet exclusively at OLIS under the guidance of their ballet teacher, Ms Lara Mamo.

Ballet and reading are the two things they love the most, so for their Reading Stars Competition entry,
they created and choreographed this beautiful dance themselves, combining their two greatest passions.

We are proud to share that we have been awarded the ERA Green School Scheme Award! 🌿🏆

This recognition comes with funding of up to €10,000 to transform part of our school grounds into a sustainable outdoor learning environment where our students can learn, explore, and care for creation.

Our project includes:
🌱 Biodiversity enhancement
💧 Rainwater harvesting
♻️ Composting and waste separation facilities
📚 Outdoor learning spaces

This achievement reflects the dedication and collaboration of our school community, who believe that sustainability is not just something we teach, but something we live every day.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the proposal and to all those who continue to inspire our students to become responsible stewards of our environment. We look forward to bringing this exciting vision to life! 💚🌍

What a fun way to end the scholastic year! Today, our primary students enjoyed a special dance and extra fun during a special assembly with a ‘Summer Holiday’ theme. The girls joined in the fun by wearing sunglasses, sun hats and big smiles.

A huge thank you goes to the educators who volunteered to plan this fun surprise. Thank you also to all the staff members who joined in to make it such a fun day for the girls.

We wish all our students and their families a wonderful summer holiday! ☀️

🏊‍♀️💦 Our Year 3 and Year 4 students had a wonderful swimming session at Tal-Qroqq Pool Complex today! They practised their swimming skills, improved their kicking techniques, built confidence in the water, and enjoyed some fun jumps into the pool. 🌊🎉

Well done to all the students for their enthusiasm, effort, and excellent participation throughout the session! 🏊‍♀️✨

🏊‍♂️💦 Our Year 5 and Year 6 students had a fantastic swimming session at Tal-Qroqq Pool Complex! They practised different swimming strokes, improved their kicking and diving skills, and ended the day with some fun jumps into the pool. 🌊🎉

Well done to all the students for their enthusiasm and participation. We can't wait to welcome our Year 3 and Year 4 students for their swimming session tomorrow! 🏊‍♀️✨

WORLD BOOK DAY COMPETITION
