Yesterday, during the CoPE session, our LSEs participated in training on the TEACCH approach, gaining valuable insights and practical strategies to further support learners through structured methods and inclusive practices.

The session was delivered by Ms Jeanette Galea Soler, Autism Support Teacher. We would like to sincerely thank Ms Jeanette for sharing her expertise and experience with us, and also extend our thanks to SfCE for making this training opportunity possible.

A special thanks also goes to our Head of Department for Inclusion, Ms Mariella Cutajar, for coordinating and facilitating this valuable professional development session.

Tonight we celebrate the Graduation of our dear Year 11 Girls, our Class of 2026 😊

Most of you first walked into this school when you were still very young whilst others joined this community at a later stage. No matter when you joined, we have seen you all grow into mature, responsible and determined young ladies. We hope these qualities will remain with you for life.

Make sure you treasure all the lessons learnt throughout these years, and the friendships made 🤝

You will now all embark on a new journey, on your own separate paths. Make sure you never give up and to keep on persevering to accomplish the goals you set for yourselves .

Good luck Year 11s ❤️

On Friday 15th May, a group of Year 10 girls, who are currently studiying all 3 Science subjects at school, were given the opportunity to visit some of the Diagnostic Science Labs at Heritage Malta. During this visit, some of the scientists working at these labs briefly explained to them the diagnostic work they carry out in relation to conservation of historical artefacts, including some of the tools they use in this process.

At the end of the visit, the girls also had the opportunity to briefly meet with various International Liasion Officers from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) who were currently meeting in Malta.

This opportunity was provided to our students through the work done by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism within a wider effort that the Ministry is doing to promote women and girls in science and gender equality in the nuclear field.

We would also like to thank Mr. Matthew Attard, who is the current Maltese Liaison Officer for the IAEA, who organised and coordinated this opportunity for our students.

On Tuesday, 12th May, our Year 8 students headed to Ġnejna, where they began trekking towards it-Torri tal-Lippija, observing the different habitats along the way. They paused to carry out their fieldwork activities, using quadrats to calculate the average number of asphodils per square metre of land.

Afterwards, they continued their journey from the clay hills down to Għajn Tuffieħa Riviera Beach, where they enjoyed some time playing ball games on the sand.

On Monday11th May, our KTI Year 9 and Year 10 students had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the L‑Esploraturi tal‑Ambjent programme.

It was a meaningful chance for them to spend quality time in nature, learn more about our local environment, and actively contribute to taking care of it.

Well done to all students for their enthusiasm and positive energy — small actions make a big difference. 🙂🙂
