The Happy Feet Childcare - Zabbar The Happy Feet Child Care Facility is a brand new child care centre located in the heart of Zabbar, 50 metres away from the Primary A School.

Our child care centre spans over more than 250 square meters...the outdoor area alone is over more than 60 square meters. We boast of being perfectly located right next to the primary schools and bocci club. The centre consists of 2 educational rooms, a babies room, an indoor play room, a massive open plan for other group activities and another room for lunch time. A visit to remember!

Last Wednesday, we were delighted to welcome representatives from SocietΓ  Filarmonica Maria Mater Gratiae Ε»abbar A.D. 1883 to our nursery! πŸ’™

They created a wonderful atmosphere with their music and patiently introduced our children to a variety of musical instruments. 🎡✨

The children had so much fun listening, exploring and discovering, while developing their curiosity, concentration and appreciation for music. πŸ₯°

Our children enjoyed a hands-on worm-themed sensory activity, exploring soil, toy worms, flowers, tweezers, and a small container. This exciting activity encouraged curiosity and discovery as the children searched for worms hidden in the soil. πŸ”πŸͺ±

Using the tweezers to carefully pick up and move the worms, the children developed their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and finger strength. They enjoyed feeling the different textures and examining their findings before placing the worms into the container. ✨

Our children had a fantastic time taking part in a fun and interactive Fly Swatter Counting Game! Using fly swatters, they enthusiastically collected paper flies from the table and practised counting how many they had caught. πŸŽ―πŸ”’

The children showed growing confidence as they counted their flies and answered simple questions about their totals. This engaging activity supported the development of number recognition, one-to-one counting, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. ✨

Our children enjoyed a wonderful bee-themed sensory tuff tray activity, designed to inspire curiosity and hands-on learning! The tray was filled with yellow coloured rice to represent pollen and included toy bees, wooden scoops, honey dippers, small wooden bowls, yellow cardboard tubes, flowers, and cereal pieces. 🌼🍯

The children eagerly explored the different materials, touching and feeling the texture of the rice while investigating the various loose parts. Using the scoops and honey dippers, they practised transferring and pouring, helping to develop their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. ✨

This fun sensory experience also encouraged imaginative play as the children created their own bee adventures, discovering how bees collect pollen and helping their understanding of the natural world. 🐝🌻

It was wonderful to see their curiosity, concentration, and creativity shine throughout the activity! 😊

From 1st September, our Childcare Centre will be opening bright and early from 6:30am until 5:00pm! ⏰

Because we know that mornings can be a little… chaotic πŸ˜‚β˜• β€” getting everyone dressed, fed, bags packed and somehow making it out the door on time deserves a medal! πŸ…

So we’re opening our doors 30 minutes earlier to make your mornings just that little bit easier. ❀️

Our aim is simple: to offer an even better, more flexible service to our families and be there when you need us. 🫢
