Random Saturday afternoon at Gozo Freedivers.

Some doing their course, some joining us for training, and all in all, a great day of freediving.

Back home afterwards, cooked together, ate together, and finished the day the way we like to.

The sea is still beautifully warm this time of year, so we could leave the wetsuits behind and just enjoy the water as we are. As long as you stay above the thermocline, there’s really no better way to freedive.

A great few days with Katie staying with us at the centre. Lots of freediving, some spearfishing, good energy and even a nice grouper that ended up on the dinner table. Good times in and out of the water.

Sometimes we organise snorkeling tours for people who aren't quite ready to discover the secrets of breath-holding... and sometimes for people who just prefer breathing. 😄

Here's a little tour around beautiful Mġarr ix-Xini—crystal-clear water, caves, and some of Gozo's amazing marine life.

Nick and Alison joined us for a three-day freediving course and stayed with us at the Gozo Freedivers centre for the weekend.

It was a great few days of diving, learning, good conversations and sharing meals together. Watching their confidence and skills grow with every session is always one of the best parts of teaching.

Another freediver certified! 🌊👏

Congratulations to **Kyle** on completing his course with **Gozo Freedivers**. Already a keen spearfisher, he joined us to sharpen his skills and reached **22 metres**.

His buddy **Steve** trained alongside him, practicing rescue and buddy procedures—because safety is what makes great freedivers.

Just another day in our **blue office**. 💙

Congratulations, Zach! 🎉 It was an absolute pleasure having you with us at the Gozo Freedivers centre.

Three days of learning, improving, sharing laughs, and enjoying great company. What really stood out was your attitude—you never tried to impress anyone or chase numbers. Instead, you focused on learning the fundamentals, one step at a time, building solid skills and good habits.

That's exactly what freediving is about. Strong foundations create confident, safe, and capable divers, and you've done just that.

What a privilege it was to spend time in the water with Denise Gaffa and Ash D***s.

Denise has been training with us for several years and is an accomplished freediver. Thanks to her, we had the opportunity to meet Ash and introduce him to freediving.

After a short session covering theory and breathing techniques, Ash made his first dives look effortless. Despite having no previous freediving experience, his athletic ability and composure in the water were remarkable. He comfortably reached 25 metres, spending time at depth with a calmness that comes naturally to exceptional athletes. With more time, we're confident he could have gone much deeper.

Ash is a true explorer, holding five world records for his extraordinary solo expeditions and has been featured by BBC, National Geographic, and Discovery.

Thank you both for an unforgettable day. We hope to see you back in Gozo soon! 🌊💙

Sophie came to Gozo looking for a freediving adventure... and we knew exactly where to take her.

Our destination was the P31 wreck, resting at 20 metres in the crystal-clear waters of Comino. It's one of our favourite dive sites because it can be enjoyed by everyone—from snorkellers on the surface to experienced freedivers exploring the wreck itself.

This is just one of the many adventures you can experience on a freediving holiday with us in Gozo, Malta.
