As part of the Building Sustainable Competences (BUSTIC EDU) Project, our Geography 9.3 students took part in an activity focusing on one of Maltaβs most precious natural resources β our aquifers.
During the session, students explored the major threats facing Maltese aquifers, including over-extraction, pollution, and increase in demand due to population increase. Through discussion and teamwork, they proposed practical solutions to promote a more sustainable use of water in Malta.
Well done to all students for their active participation and thoughtful ideas on how to protect the environment and build a more sustainable future for all.! π Ms Muscat Xerri and Mr Lufi
