The school owes much of its physical character to its being built on the site of Fort Verdala, on the top of Margherita Hills, limits of Cospicua. As recently renovated, the school, first opened its doors to students in the scholastic year 2008/2009. These blocks house the requirements of today's educational system: including our library, Science Labs, Home Economics and Hospitality Labs, ICT and
Computer Labs, specialised subject rooms for all other subjects and a Learning Zone within easy access to all. The school also has its own hall (housed in a building that dates from colonial dates as evinced by its typical British Colonial architecture), a large sports ground, a praying room and also its own camping site.
