Metallform (Malta) Ltd, a world leader in the manufacturing of precise medical plastic parts and sterile infusion systems is looking for a TECHNICIAN to join the team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities include:

• Manage the Calibration Program of all equipment and ensure that all records are up to date.
• Support in the validation of equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and plant equipment.
• Monitor and control spare parts inventory.
• Troubleshoot and liaise with service providers to maintain equipment.
• Prepare and maintain process flow documentation.
• Assist the engineering department with any ongoing projects.
• Other tasks may be assigned from time to time by the direct superior within the engineering remit.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Able to work effectively and on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Organised and methodical.

He/she should be in possession of:

• A minimum qualification at MQF level 4 or equivalent in electrical / mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Advance knowledge and experience on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Advance knowledge and experience on automated mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Lisa Marie Bezzina has broken the women’s 800m over 40 record when she clocked 2:21.58 during A.M Summer meet held on Wednesday 24th August. The record had stood for 13 years and was previously held by Carol Walsh. Lisa is now holder of 5 Women’s over 40 national records ( 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m & 10000m) WELL DONE LISA!

Congratulations once again to Lisa Marie BEZZINA on achieving a great result. 1st woman overall in Belgium 🇧🇪 1500mts competition it was tactical race.. but tks God I managed to win the race !
2 competition in 5 days, last Saturday I took part in 5000mts and I managed to finish in top 10 !
