At Knights College, we have long believed that education delivers its greatest impact when it remains connected to the realities of the world beyond the classroom.
Last week's WBL Champion Conference brought together policymakers, educators, employers, and European partners for meaningful discussions on the future of Work-Based Learning, employability, and skills development.
We are proud to have hosted this important event in Malta as part of the Erasmus+ funded WBL Champion project and to contribute to a growing European conversation about creating more responsive, future-ready education systems.
Thank you to our partners, speakers, and attendees for helping make the conference such a valuable exchange of ideas.
The conversations continue, and so does our commitment to bridging education and industry.

Knights College is expanding Athena, our AI-powered learning environment and we’re looking for the person who will help build the content that powers it.
This is not a traditional teaching role. As our Academic Content Architect, you’ll turn expert knowledge into structured, high-quality asynchronous learning units that students engage with independently, supported by our AI tutor, Socrates.
You’ll be great at this if you:
• Love structuring ideas clearly and logically.
• Have experience in curriculum or instructional design.
• Write with precision and clarity.
• Enjoy working independently and managing multiple projects.
• Are curious about AI-enhanced learning.
What you’ll do:
• Interview subject tutors to extract core concepts.
• Build asynchronous learning units aligned to module outcomes.
• Apply online pedagogy to design explanations, examples, and activities.
• Maintain content quality and consistency across programmes.
• Contribute a small amount of teaching (secondary to the content role).
Knights College will provide training if needed. We’re looking for rigour, clarity, and a strong work ethic above all.
Help shape the future of AI-supported education. We’d love to hear from you - https://knights.edu.mt/careers/vacancies/academic-content-architect

Last week, our Sixth Form students spent the morning at SuperCharger Ventures Malta this week, inside one of Europe's leading EdTech ecosystems at Trident Park.
Business breakfast. A walk through the Hub. Founders observed in their natural environment.
Led by tutor Mr Joe Tanti, with thanks to Vladyslav Saviak.
Exposure shapes ambition.

Going global is not about getting bigger. It's about building the right relationships, slowly and on purpose.
Yesterday, Michele Agius , Knights College Manager for International Partnerships and EU Funding, joined Richard Muscat Azzopardi and Dean Micallef on the panel "From Local to Global: Entering New Markets."
The strongest takeaway from the room? Enter new markets with humility, or don't enter them at all. Listen first. Understand the local reality. Build for mutual value.
Education is moving past physical borders. The institutions that will matter are the ones that stay human as the tools get bigger.
Thank you toFPEI - Foundation for the Promotion of Entrepreneurial Initiatives and the Malta Business Bureau for hosting a conversation that needed to be had.

Gianluca studied Sixth Form at Knights College.
He also worked at while doing it.
This week he sat down with their CEO, . Not as a student, but as someone who'd already been in the room.
That's work-based learning. That's Knights College Sixth Form.
