This was such a fun experience for the children! It created a special sense of bond between us as adults and the children - letting them express themselves freely, without any fear of getting messy.
We don’t fear mess, we create it 🤣

Pompoms in a Bottle 🟠🟡🟢
Sometimes the simplest activities create the biggest learning opportunities! Today, we provided the children with just two everyday items—colourful pompoms and recycled bottles. Their challenge was to fill the bottles with the pompoms, and they were completely engaged for a long period of time.
While having fun, the children were developing and strengthening a variety of important skills, including:
✨ Fine motor skills – carefully picking up and placing the pompoms into the bottle opening.
✨ Hand-eye coordination – guiding the pompoms accurately into the bottles.
✨ Concentration and focus – staying engaged and determined to complete the task.
✨ Problem-solving skills – figuring out how to manipulate the pompoms and bottles to achieve their goal.
✨ Spatial awareness – understanding how objects fit into a space.
✨ Patience and perseverance – continuing the activity and overcoming small challenges along the way.
✨ Colour recognition and sorting skills – identifying and discussing the different colours of the pompoms.
This activity is a wonderful reminder that meaningful learning doesn't require expensive resources—just a little creativity, recycled materials, and plenty of opportunities for exploration and play! 💚♻️

Water play is super important and beneficial for little hands 🤩❤️🫶🏼

An absolute favourite for both the little ones and adults 🤩❤️
Such a simple activity brings out the most amazing skills. Here we can see hand-eye coordination, focused play, fine-motor skills, sensory skills and much much more at play.
Seeing the children so focused and concentrated in their play makes our heart flutter with joy 🥹❤️🫶🏼
