About me

I’ve been helping students understand scientific processes and concepts from the summer of 2007. During my early years of tutoring, I helped students in biology, chemistry and physics. At the time I was studying advanced Biology and Chemistry at St Aloysius College Sixth Form. Then, following graduation in Science Education with specialisation in Biology from the University of Malta I starting teaching science subjects at the Archbishop’s Seminary.

I currently offer Biology lessons, at Advanced, Intermediate and Ordinary level. Chemistry tuition can be given upon specific requests.

My aim during lessons is to make sure you understand the concepts and processes in life sciences. During a lesson on a difficult concept, I start from basic principles that you know and slowly scaffold information through diagrams, examples, analogies, videos, historical insights, Socratic questioning etc. until you see how it all ties together.

Notes and other resources are provided. Lesson fees range from 10 to 15 euros per lesson. Most lessons last 2 hours.
