💚 World Mental Health Day

We all face challenges, myself included. Some struggles are visible, while others remain hidden behind a smile.

Mental health reminds us that we don’t always have to be strong, and that even those who support others sometimes need support themselves.

A little kindness, understanding and thoughtfulness can make a world of difference.

Let’s be kinder to one another, because we never truly know what someone else is going through. 💚

An Inclusive Journey for All.

Tomorrow marks the start of another school year. For some of you, it will be your first time in a classroom as an educator. It’s normal to feel a little nervous. You don’t have to know everything on your first day. Take time to get to know the children, listen to the teachers, ask questions and give yourselves room to learn.

For those returning, I hope you have a lovely first day and a year full of moments that remind you why you chose this work. Good luck to you all!

Go and do good!

Yesterday, our tutors and students came together once again for a lovely evening at Medina restaurant Salini Resort.

Looking around at everyone laughing, chatting and building friendships, we realised that the dream we had for CC Education Academy was right there in front of us - a warm and welcoming place where educators learn, support one another and feel that they truly belong.

Of course, we still ended up talking about work, our students and how we can continue making a difference! 😊 It was a beautiful evening filled with friendship, networking, laughter and good food. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who attended, and for those who couldn’t, we hope to see you next time.

We’re pleased to introduce a brand-new Articles section on our website — a space where we’ll be sharing reflections, experiences and perspectives on education, inclusion and the realities of working within the sector.

And we’re starting with a topic very close to our hearts.

Our first article, “Beyond the Misconceptions: What Being an LSE Really Means,” looks beyond the labels and common misconceptions surrounding the role of the Learning Support Educator.

Read our first article here:

After more than two decades working as an LSE, I have heard just about every misconception there is; from “the job is easy” to “they’re only in it for the holidays.” This is a personal reflection on what happens beyond what people see in the classroom, and why the role deserves greater und...
