This is the month where our students celebrate their special day in the Catholic Church. First Holy Communion and Confirmation are two sacraments which our students take as part of the College community. This does not mean that they are not part of the community in their parishes; indeed, these sacraments confer on the students membership to all the Catholic Communities f this world. Virtus et Honor.

St Edward’s College has been ranked first for the upcoming scholastic year under the Arts Council Malta Arts in Schools Scheme with its proposal Living History – Celebrating a Century. This recognition further strengthens the College’s Humanities programme, placing creativity, research, and collaboration at the centre of learning. The project brings together Year 8 students with artists Gabriel Buttigieg and Anna Aloisio under the guidance of Art Teacher Ryan Falzon, exploring the College’s rich history through the creation of two large-scale murals.
We thank Arts Council Malta for this recognition, which affirms the importance of arts education and its role in shaping meaningful, future-focused learning environments.

And the last Staff member of the month for this scholastic year is Ms Tracy Bonnici. You will not find Ms Bonnici dancing on table tops and her approach is normally quiet and unobtrusive...but oh, boy does her teaching pack a punch! her creativity and initiatives both in the classroom and outside of it are an inspiration which get the students hooked on to business studies. She is a team player and a person who sees possibilities in every situation. Thank you Ms Bonnici!
What does boarding look like when it is built around independence, care, and opportunity?
At St Edward’s College, boarding is a structured and supportive environment where students develop independence, confidence, and a strong sense of responsibility, while staying closely connected to their families.
Located in Malta, our boarding community combines academic focus, personal development, and a safe, welcoming environment in a Mediterranean setting.
Students are supported to study well, live independently, and explore their interests beyond the classroom.
