At Dragon Hapkimudo we teach the Korean martial art of Hapkimudo, an art that covers all aspects of combat: striking with feet & fists, falls, throws, locks, weapons, energy work, putting the individual at the centre of our attention. For the past years we have taught people of all ages from different walks of life, helping them to instil a sense of self-esteem and well being, discovering and lear
ning new things and conducting a better life-style. Our main instructor, Emvin Mifsud was one of the first to start learning Hapkimudo when it was first introduced in Malta back in 2013 by Master Christopher Vella. Emvin has been involved in martial arts for the past 13 years having been very active in both the local Taekwondo scene as well as Hapkimudo. Emvin holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo (Kukkiwon) as well as a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Hapkimudo and is also a certified instructor in Hapkimudo. Emvin is assisted in the administration of the club by a group of very qualified individuals namely, Martin Buhagiar (1st Dan Hapkimudo), Reuben Mifsud (1st Dan Hapkimudo, 3rd Dan Taekwondo), Gabriel Borg (1st Dan Hapkimudo, 1st Dan Taekwondo), Rachel Mifsud (1st Keup Hapkimudo, 1st Dan Taekwondo) & Glenn Galea (1st Keup Hapkimudo,1st Dan Taekwondo)
