Aqra d-Dar / Read at Home is a National Literacy Agency programme. Aqra d-dar / Read at home is a National Literacy Agency programme.

This programme makes sure that students between the ages of 3 and 16 have access to various appealing and interesting books that they can read at home. Every student can borrow up to 6 books, three in Maltese and three in English from age-approved catalogues. 📣Update to Read at Home / Aqra d-Dar 📣

We’re thrilled that our programme now reaches thousands of homes across Malta and Gozo! 💛

From November 1, book packs should be kept for five weeks before requesting new ones. This gives families more time to read, re-read, and fall in love with their stories, and helps us reach even more eager readers. 📚

Thank you for your understanding and support. Together, we’re inspiring a love of reading, one story at a time!

Mill-1 ta’ Novembru 2025, il-pakketti tal-kotba jridu jinżammu għal ħames ġimgħat qabel ma jintalbu oħrajn ġodda. Dan jippermetti aktar ħin lill-familji biex jaqraw u jerġgħu jaqraw il-kotba li jordnaw, filwaqt li jgħinna nilħqu aktar qarrejja ħerqana.
