The Institute of Tourism Studies is organising an industry consultation session to discuss and review the content of its Events programme in collaboration with professionals from the events sector.

Industry stakeholders including DMCs, conference and incentive organisers, wedding planners, festival and concert organisers are invited to take part in this open discussion, sharing their insights and expectations to help ensure the programme continues to reflect the needs of the industry. The session will be followed by a networking stand-up lunch.

Melvin took part in the episode alongside the Preca Sisters, showcasing his culinary skills and passion for food preparation while gaining valuable hands-on experience on screen

We invite experienced hospitality professionals to evaluate Kitchen and Restaurant Service examinations throughout the academic year.
You’ll review assessments, evaluate student performance in Food & Beverage Service or Food Production, and deliver clear, structured reports alongside academic staff.

To apply, you need a valid Category B Food Handlers Licence, an MQF Level 5–7 qualification or 10+ years’ managerial experience, plus a VAT number.

Rates range from €20–€35 per hour, based on qualifications.
