🛳️ Pilot Boat Duties - DID YOU KNOW? ⚓

Any ship subject to compulsory pilotage entering or leaving Malta’s Grand Harbour or Marsaxlokk Port is boarded by a maritime pilot, who transfers from a pilot boat to the vessel using a pilot ladder.

As part of our Summer Bootcamp, students stepped onboard a tugboat at Malta Freeport to discover more about these powerful vessels and the important role they play in maritime operations.
