CODE4EARTH, proġett implimentat mis‑Segretarjat għall‑Edukazzjoni Kattolika, huwa proġett interdixxiplinarju STEM u s‑sostenibbiltà li jfittex li jagħddi ħiliet lill‑istudenti bħal coding, literiżmu diġitali, it‑tagħlim ibbażat fuq l‑investigazzjoni u s‑soluzzjoni kollaborattiva tal‑problemi.

Permezz tal‑użu ta’ Micro:bit, sensuri ambjentali u STEM kits iffukati fuq is‑sostenibbiltà, l‑istudenti jistgħu jinvestigaw kwistjonijiet ambjentali reali u jiżviluppaw soluzzjonijiet prattiċi u innovattivi.

L‑iskejjel li pparteċipaw f'dan il-proġett involvew lill‑istudenti f’attivitajiet relatati mal‑monitoraġġ ambjentali, il‑ġbir tad‑data, il‑coding, il‑kunċetti tal‑enerġija nadifa, il‑kreattività u saħansitra x‑xogħol fi grupp—filwaqt li jsaħħu ħiliet trasversali allinjati mal‑prijoritajiet edukattivi Ewropej u nazzjonali.

Is-Segretarjat ser ikun qed jerġa joffri dan il-proġett lill-iskejjel tal-Knisja s-sena dieħla.

SFCE25-26/19 - Literacy after Phonics: Teaching comprehension skills for more advanced literacy skills

Last week a professional development session regarding the Comprehension Modules was held at the The Archbishop's Minor Seminary. During the session we explored the strategies of the programme and the resources available on the website.
Participants were also informed about the recent updates, namely new literary texts, presentations and changes to the composition tasks to reflect the grade 3 learning outcomes.
