We are overwhelmed by the generosity, prayers, encouragement, and support that have already poured in from so many people. These matching gifts are helping us begin critical repairs and take important first steps toward recovery.
At the same time, we also want to honestly share that the road ahead is still very long. We are still getting estimates on the cost of our damage across our school campus and church property, and there is still an enormous amount of rebuilding work that must be done in the months and years ahead. While these funds we know will not cover everything, they are helping us move forward with hope instead of standing still in devastation.
We are incredibly grateful to share that the original $50,000 matching campaign was fully completed, and now another generous couple has stepped forward to offer an additional dollar-for-dollar match up to $30,000 for the recovery and rebuilding of Saipan Community Church and Saipan Community School following Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
Every gift, every prayer, and every person who shares our story reminds us that we are not walking through this alone.
Thank you for standing with the people of Saipan as we rebuild together, one step at a time.
