Did you know that treating strep throat early can help prevent serious health complications later in life?

As part of the CNMI Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) Prevention Initiative, CHCC and healthcare partners are working together to improve access to rapid strep testing across the Commonwealth. Early diagnosis and treatment can help protect children from acute rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease.

Talk to your healthcare provider about rapid strep testing and the importance of early treatment.

⏰ Don’t wait until the last minute—get your child ready for the new school year today!

The special Saturday vaccination clinic hours continue this August! 🏫 Make sure your child has the required vaccinations and health documents (Blue Card) before school starts.

📍 Visit the CHCC Immunization Clinic during our special Saturday hours and beat the back-to-school rush.

⚠️ Last call for vaccinations is at 11:30 a.m.

💉 Free vaccines are available for eligible children ages 0–18 through the CHCC Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program.

✅ Medicaid and private insurance are accepted.
🪪 Blue Cards are available for a $5 fee.
💳 Cash and card payments are accepted.

📋 Please bring a photo ID and insurance card, if available.

🚶 Walk-ins are welcome—no appointment needed!

This session will provide practical guidance and community resources on mandated reporting, highlighting how early reporting of suspected child abuse and neglect helps ensure children receive the protection and support they need.

If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, report it. Your voice can help keep a child safe.

Educational Session for Medical Providers | Developmental Disabilities

Medical providers are invited to attend an in-person educational session on Developmental Disabilities with guest speakers Jeffrey Okamoto, MD, FAAP and Kerri Niino, M.D.

This session will help providers better recognize developmental disabilities, understand diagnosis considerations for children with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder, and identify ways to connect individuals and families to appropriate supports.
