🎉 Congratulations to our outstanding teams for their remarkable achievements at the 2026 FIRST® LEGO® League Asia Open Championship, held in Beijing, China from Aug 13‑16 under the theme UNEARTHED! Our young archaeologists embarked on exciting archaeological expeditions. They applied STEAM knowledge, designed ingenious LEGO constructions, demonstrated great curiosity and solid teamwork, and brought home well‑deserved awards! 🌟

The 2026 National U-Series (Non-Professional) Boxing Championships and the CSSF National Middle School Boxing Championships were recently held in Shenzhen. Co-hosted by the Chinese Boxing Association and the China School Sports Federation, the event brought together 192 outstanding young boxers from middle schools across the country to compete on the same stage.

Joanne Cheng from S2I demonstrated remarkable composure throughout the competition. With exceptional resilience and superb technique, she advanced round after round in the Junior High School Girls' 51kg category. Ultimately, she rose above formidable opponents to claim the national runner-up title, achieving a personal milestone and bringing honor to our school. In addition, our school team was awarded the "Sportsmanship Award" by the organizing committee, in recognition of our students' and teachers' excellent athletic spirit, discipline, and dedication to the event.

2026年全國U系列（非專業）拳擊錦標賽暨學體聯全國中學生拳擊錦標賽，日前於深圳圓滿落幕。本屆賽事由中國拳擊協會與中國學生體育聯合會共同主辦，匯聚全國各地共192名中學拳擊好手同場競技。

本校初二誠程頌恩於賽場上沉著應戰，展現超群韌性與精湛技術，在初中組女子51公斤級賽事中一路過關斬將，最終於強敵環伺下脫穎而出，榮獲全國亞軍，締造個人佳績，為校爭光。此外，本校代表隊亦憑藉優異的運動精神與風度，獲大會頒發「體育道德風尚獎」，肯定本校全體師生對賽事的投入與尊重。

Our students Joanne Cheng from S2I and Emma Tse from S2H participated in the 2026 National U‑Series (Non‑Professional) Boxing Training Camp, held in Shenzhen from July 31 to August 9. The ten‑day programme featured progressive training, including fundamental boxing techniques, simulated sparring, and integrated physical conditioning.

The camp also incorporated character‑building activities and a visit to the Shenzhen Museum. Both students demonstrated strong self‑discipline and courtesy in their daily routines, earning unanimous recognition from the coaching team. In the concluding assessment, they were honoured with the “Best Trainee Award.”

本校學生初二誠班程頌恩、初二謙班謝子琳於 7 月 31 日至 8 月 9 日參加在深圳舉行的 2026 全國 U 系列（非專業）拳擊訓練營。為期十日的訓練涵蓋拳法基礎、模擬對抗及綜合體能等循序漸進的課程。

集訓期間亦安排素質拓展活動及深圳博物館參觀。兩位學生在日常生活中自律有禮，表現獲教練組一致肯定，並在結訓評選中榮獲「最佳學員獎」。

Our rhythmic gymnastics team competed in the 9th ACPC International Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational on August 7. With fluid and graceful movements and outstanding teamwork, the team proudly claimed first place in the U12 Group 5-Balls event.

本校藝術體操隊於8月7日征戰第九屆ACPC國際藝術體操邀請賽，隊員們以流暢優雅的動作與絕佳默契，勇奪U12組集體5球項目第一名。

Our students recently traveled to Cheongju OSCO in South Korea to participate in WRO Korea 2026! This year's competition was a grand success, bringing together over 300 teams and more than 700 competitors from 7 countries and regions. Facing algorithm fine-tuning and dynamic challenge tests in the RoboStarter category, our students showcased exceptional logical thinking and adaptability, ultimately standing out among top international competitors!

本校學生日前遠赴韓國清州 OSCO，參加 WRO Korea 2026！本屆賽事盛況空前，匯聚來自 7 個國家與地區、超過 300 支隊伍及 700 多名選手同場競技。同學們在 RoboStarter 項目中面對演算法調校及動態關卡考驗，展現出卓越的邏輯思維與臨場應變力，最終在眾多國際強敵中脫穎而出！

The award ceremony for the 2025–2026 5th Global Chinese Writing Competition for Young Writers was held on 31 July 2026 at the Secondary Section of Yew Chung International School of Hong Kong (YCIS).

The Chinese Department of our Primary Section organized students to participate in the competition, where they fully demonstrated their talent in Chinese writing. Through keen observation, rich imagination, and sincere, compelling expression, their works stood out among the many entries and achieved outstanding results. Our school was also presented with the Outstanding Organization Award in recognition of its efforts and achievements in promoting Chinese writing education. We extend our warmest congratulations to the award-winning students listed below and express our sincere gratitude to their teachers for their dedicated guidance.

Yesterday, our school’s student representatives traveled to Guangdong Radio and Television Station in China to participate in the "10th China Children's Little Golden Bell Hosting Competition National Finals" on behalf of the Hong Kong and Macau region.

In these national finals, our students competed alongside top contestants from provinces and cities across the country. By performing with fluent English, professional stage presence, and superb expression techniques, our students earned unanimous recognition and praise from the judges.

昨日，本校學生代表港澳地區，遠赴中國廣東廣播電視台參加「第十屆中國少兒小金鐘主持大賽全國總決賽」。

在本次全國總決賽中，本校學生與來自全國各省市的頂尖選手同場切磋，以流利的英語進行演繹，並透過專業的台風與精湛的表達技巧，獲得了評審們的一致肯定與讚賞。
