First image of the 2016-2017 yearbook cover - it's been a long time coming and it still needs some tweaking but it's starting to come together.

Unleash your creativity! It's time for our annual yearbook cover competition. This year's theme:
"Once Upon a Time..."

The yearbook tells the story of our school year - what story do you want to tell??? It could be the wolves in the dark, deep woods. It could be the glory of slaying dragons! Create your A3 sized cover design digitally or with your digits (aka, fingers ;-) and turn it in to Ms. Mutrux by February 6 for your chance to win a free copy of the 2016-2017 yearbook.

Did you like the 2015-2016 yearbook? If not, you'll have the chance to change next year's. The team hopes to recruit 2 students representing each grade, from 6-12. If you've got design skills, lots of ideas, or are just enthusiastic about preserving your memories, think about it over the summer and see Ms. Mutrux when the year starts.

Your first look at the 2015-2016 grade pages

After much travail...the 2015-2016 yearbook cover!

Each grade has two pages of space for random photos, selfies, and quotes. Start gathering up yours and submit them to Ms. Mutrux through email, in person, or by posting them right here.

Don't forget to look at your photos from school picture day on Google Drive, and be sure to share them with your mom and dad after you choose which one you want in the yearbook. Also, seniors, be sure you are working on your senior ad - the quarter-page dedicated to you! Both of these are due on February 28.

You have just over two weeks to work on your yearbook cover entry! You need to design both the front and back cover and use the following quote on the theme of "Elements":
"Earth, my body.
Water, my blood.
Air, my breath.
Fire, my spirit."
Feel free to work in Photoshop, GIMP, InDesign, or even with good old pencil and paper, as long as it's finished digitally. If you need help with scanning, please see Ms. Mutrux.
