Сургалтын үеэр оролцогчдод Америк төвийн үйл ажиллагаа, хэрэгжүүлж буй хөтөлбөрийн талаар мэдээлэл хүргэж, төвийн үйл ажиллагаатай танилцуулсан юм.
Багш, боловсролын салбарын хөгжлийг дэмжиж, мэдээлэл солилцон, цаашдын хамтын ажиллагаагаа үргэлжлүүлэн хөгжүүлэхэд үр дүнтэй арга хэмжээ байлаа.

📚 Collaboration
On September 22, our center co-organized a training session for the teachers and staff of Kharaatsai Kindergarten, part of the Children’s Sector of Ulaanbaatar Railway (UBTZ), to help improve their teaching skills.
During the training, we introduced the American Corner, shared information about our activities and programs, and gave the participants an overview of what our center offers.
It was a great opportunity to support teachers, share information, and discuss ways to continue and develop our future collaboration. 🤝📖

Энэ удаагийн Америкийн баатрууд цувралаараа бид Алан Шепард-г онцолж байна. Тэрээр 1961 оны 5-р сарын 5-нд Freedom 7 хөлгөөр сансарт ниссэн анхны Америк хүн болж, түүхэнд нэрээ үлдээсэн юм. Арван жилийн дараа тэрээр Apollo 14 хөлгийн командлагчаар дахин сансарт нисэж, Саран дээр алхсан тав дахь хүн болсон. 🌕👨‍🚀 Мөн Apollo хөтөлбөрийн хамгийн дурсамжтай мөчүүдийн нэгээр Шепард Саран дээр гольфын бөмбөг цохисон явдал юм! ⛳🌕

Alan Shepard made history on May 5, 1961, when he became the first American in space aboard Freedom 7. Ten years later, he returned to space as the commander of Apollo 14 and became the fifth person to walk on the Moon. 🌕👨‍🚀 And in one of the most memorable moments of the Apollo missions, Shepard even hit a golf ball on the Moon! ⛳🌕
His journey reminds us that setbacks do not have to stop us from reaching our goals.

🎲American Adventure Board club болон 📚Book Bloomers club-уудын 2 дахь 7 хоногийн үйл ажиллагаа амжилттай зохион байгуулагдлаа. Эдгээр хөтөлбөрүүд нь англи хэлний сонсох, ярих чадвараа зэрэг хөгжүүлэх боломжийг олгож байгаа ба Энх Тайвны Корпусын сайн дурын багш нартай хамтран хэрэгжүүлж байгаагаараа онцлогтой юм. Хөтөлбөр тус бүр өөрсдийн гэсэн өнгө аястайгаар үйл ажиллагаагаа явуулж хөгжилтэй, сонирхолтой арга барилаар англи хэлний мэдлэг, АНУ-ын талаар мэдлэгээ сайжруулах боломжийг олгож байна.

The second week of activities for the 🎲 American Adventure Board Club and 📚 Book Bloomers Club was successfully organized. These programs provide an opportunity to develop both English listening and speaking skills at the same time, and are unique in that they are implemented in collaboration with Peace Corps volunteer teachers. Each program has its own unique style and provides opportunities to improve English language skills and knowledge about the United States through fun and engaging activities.

Desmond Doss — Дэлхийн II дайны үед зэвсэггүйгээр олон шархадсан цэргүүдийн амийг аварсан Америкийн армийн эмч.

🇺🇸 As part of the “American Heroes” series, prepared to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, we are highlighting Desmond Doss (1919–2006) as the next representative of the “Security” section.
Desmond Doss — a U.S. Army medic who saved the lives of many wounded soldiers without carrying a weapon during World War II.
His courage, strong beliefs, and willingness to sacrifice himself for others made him the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor. 🏅
He refused to carry a weapon, but he never ran away from the battlefield. 🕊️

Тус долоо хоногт “Эрхээ мэдье” эвент арга хэмжээг төвдөө зохион байгуулан үндсэн хуулийн талаарх сонирхолтой олон мэдээ мэдээллийг хуваалцан багийн тэмцээн зохион байгуулсан ба мөн номын баяраар номын сангийн гадаа талбайд АНУ-ын 250 жилийн ойн хүрээнд танилцуулж буй номын үзэсгэлэнг гарган үндсэн хуулийн талаарх асуулт хариулт явуулан тэмдэглэн өнгөрүүллээ.

🇺🇸 Constitution Week at American Corner Dornogovi

Last week, we celebrated Constitution Week in commemoration of the adoption of the U.S. Constitution.
As part of the week, we organized an event called “Know Your Rights” at American Corner Dornogovi, where participants learned interesting facts and information about the U.S. Constitution and took part in a fun team competition.
We also joined the Book Festival by setting up a book exhibition in front of the library, featuring books presented as part of the America250 celebration. Visitors participated in a Constitution-themed Q&A activity and learned more about the U.S. Constitution and its history.

It was a meaningful and engaging week filled with learning, discussion, and fun activities!

Бид АНУ-ын тусгаар тогтнолын 250 жилийн ойн хүрээнд сонирхолтой, шинэлэг хөтөлбөрүүдийг төлөвлөж, сургалтын хичээл, үйл ажиллагаануудаа бэлтгэн, хамтран ажиллаж байна.

🇲🇳🇺🇸 Peace Corps Mongolia volunteers have been working in Dornogovi Province for the second consecutive year. This year, we warmly welcomed our new Peace Corps volunteers and began our collaboration. 🤝
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, we are working together to plan engaging and innovative programs, as well as prepare lessons and activities.
We also organized a museum visit with our Peace Corps volunteers to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the D. Danzanravjaa Museum, with the aim of introducing and promoting the valuable historical and cultural heritage of our province. 🏛️
With engaging and informative explanations of the museum’s history and the significance of its exhibits, this visit provided our new volunteers with a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Dornogovi’s history, culture, and heritage.

🎖Тэрээр АНУ-ын армид 50 гаруй жил алба хааж, цэргийн салбар дахь арьс өнгөөр ялгаварлах үзэл, хязгаарлалтыг даван туулахад хувь нэмэр оруулсан ба дэлхийн II дайны үед Африк- Америк цэргүүдийн нөхцөл, боломжийг сайжруулах чиглэлээр ажилласан.
🌟Түүний амжилт нь дараагийн үеийн Африк- Америк цэргийн алба хаагчдад шинэ боломжийн замыг нээсэн юм.

🎖 He served in the U.S. Army for more than 50 years and contributed to overcoming racial discrimination and institutional barriers within the military. During World War II, he worked to improve the conditions and opportunities available to African American service members.
🌟 His long career helped break racial barriers in the U.S. military and opened doors for future generations.
