Hello my CSI friends and other friends,

--There is coming another time, The International White Cane Day (The 28th Walking day of the Blind People in Myanmar) is gonna be held on 15, October 2019(Tuesday). Everyone might notice that there are billboards put on around many places in Yangon.
--On behalf of CSI organization ,we blind school volunteers have participated on that day annually. Now this is gonna be our fifth time. So this time, I am hopefully encouraging you, CSI volunteers and other friends (if you can, )
to paticipate on that day.
--What are we gonna do?
--We will help the blind person walk together with him/ her and carry the things that are given to them.
--If you are interested in it, contact me by Sunday 13/10/2019 please. I can help you register your name at Blind School (Khawel Chan). Here are some tips that can be helpful on that day if you have decided to participate.

1) 5 am infront of Mahar Bandhula Park.
2) Starting time might be at 5:30.
3) Starting place is infront of Sule Pagoda and walk along Kannar Street, Kone Thel Street and Mahar Bandula Street. Ending place is the city hall.
4) Walking time ends at 7:00 or 7:30 so you can go to walk after that if you are working.
5) Wear loose pants and confortable shoes (strongly advice you not to wear high-heel 😀 ). Same tops will be given by Patamyar FM, we will get them on that morning.
6) Use backbags to put ur things in. Hands should be free.
7) Please bring one or two big plastic bags as you will need to put the things that are given to the blinds.
😎 Just take care and walk with one blind person as more than one can make you be in trouble carrying things for two people and taking care of them.

PS: If you have any questions, feel free to contact me please. Thank You!!!^_^
Regards,
Khin Thidar Phyo (09795866079)

Thanlyn Boys School project
2 March 2019
It was the first day of Thanlyan boyschool project for this term. The new CSI volunteers met their students. It was a pleasure to get to know each other. We found out that they have a good social skills and their willingness to learn. We did many activities such as introducing each other, teaching English alphabets, playing a game called "Apple, banana, pineapple". The goal of this particular game is to determine their sense of unity and their capability to follow instructions effectively. After playing the game and testing their English skill, we now know what they lack, what they want and what we must prepare for next week, especially about what to teach them and what activities we should do.
