We are delighted to announce that Shin Min Eain @ Alina has earned the Outstanding Speaker Award, and this recognition is truly well deserved.

Since the very first day of joining our BSI family on the 22nd of Feb, 2022, Alina, who is joining us from Pyawbwe, has exhibited unwavering effort and enthusiasm in learning. Her journey with us has been nothing short of remarkable. She began in our Starters programme and has since advanced through Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, and FCE classes. Throughout this time, she has also received dedicated training in grammar and phonics, all of which have strengthened her foundation immensely.

Over the years, her progress has been extraordinary. She speaks with clarity and confidence, enunciating every word with precision. Her ideas are expressed thoughtfully and eloquently, and she incorporates new and interesting vocabulary into her speech with natural ease.

Her articulate expression and polished delivery distinguish her as an exceptional communicator. She is a joy to teach and serves as a wonderful inspiration to her peers. We extend our heartfelt congratulations on this achievement and eagerly anticipate her continued success.

The Story of Two Wolves

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life:
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.

“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
